Spirits Tour Stop #1: 841 Brewhouse - Whitewater, WI

This favorite craft brew spot is beloved by locals and university students alike. With a fresh, modern feel and a menu full of fare with a twist, 841 Brewhouse is the perfect establishment to begin your Spirits Tour early Friday evening. Take a peek at their small but mighty brewery and sample their in-house brewed Warhawk Wheat, Amber, Oatmeal Stout and seasonal options: Golden Pilsner and Winter Porter.

This family-owned distillery is sure to provide an intimate experience as you sample their in-house distilled spirits. With permission to bring in food to nibble while you sip and your dog to keep you company, Dog and Shrub Distillery is a one of a kind spot. If visiting on a warmer evening, take your tasting out onto their patio!

Spirits Tour Stop #5: Timber Hill Winery - Milton, WI

With over twenty varieties of wines to choose from and an ongoing list of events, Timber Hill Winery gives you a boutique experience. The brew pub’s name is a nod to that history as Whitewater was once referred to as the Second Salem of the US due to rumors of witchcraft and strange hauntings. Spirits Tour Stop #9: Apple Barn Orchard & Winery - Sugar Creek, WI

Finish out your weekend with a relaxing afternoon at Apple Barn Orchard & Winery. This is the best place for all things fall: apple and pumpkin picking, kettle corn, hot cider and apple cider donuts, and a pine forest maze. Note that their wine tasting is complimentary so you know exactly what you like before you purchase! Meander the grounds and take in the historic farmhouse and brick smokehouse that’s been in the family for 6 generations.
