Our Mission
Our mission is to inspire exploration and connection by promoting the rich natural beauty, vibrant history, and arts culture of Whitewater. We aim to foster tourism that supports local businesses, preserves our historic landmarks, and enhances quality of life for both residents and visitors.

To be the premier destination in southeastern Wisconsin for outdoor adventure, cultural experiences, and historic discovery. We envision a thriving community where tourism drives economic growth, celebrates local history and lore, and encourages a deep appreciation for the natural and cultural gems of Whitewater.

About
The WWTC is to be made up of a cross section of business and organizations serving tourists. The WWTC works closely with Downtown Whitewater Inc., Whitewater Area Chamber of Commerce, Community Development Authority, and City of Whitewater Common Council.
Purpose
The purpose of the WWTC is as an advisory committee to assist in promoting new and existing tourism initiatives. WWTC will market Whitewater as a tourism destination by communicating the themes of local history, culture, area attractions and events to targeted market segments.
State Definition of Tourism
66.0615(1)(fm) "Tourism promotion and development" means any of the the following that are significantly used by transient tourists and reasonably likely to generate paid overnight stays at more than one establishment.
